Terms of use
These terms are an agreement between you and Jaeyeon Jo, a sole proprietor operating as digital0923, based in Alberta, Canada, who runs RoomTag (“we”). By using RoomTag you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
What RoomTag does
RoomTag takes a photo of your room and produces a redesigned image using products from retailers’ catalogs. Redesigns are made by AI and are suggestions for inspiration.
Sizes are estimates
Sizes worked out from a photo can be off by 10 to 20 percent or more, even when you enter a measurement. Always measure your space and check the retailer’s listed dimensions before you buy. We are not responsible for a purchase that doesn’t fit.
Products, stores and affiliate links
Products are sold by the retailers, not by us. Prices, stock and details come from the retailers and can change. Your purchase is between you and the retailer, under their terms. We may earn a commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you.
Free redesigns and subscriptions
You get a number of free redesigns, shown in the app. After that, a subscription is needed. Subscriptions are bought and managed through the App Store or Google Play and renew until you cancel there. A redesign that fails to complete is not counted.
Your photos
Only upload photos you have the right to use. You keep ownership of your photos and your results. You give us permission to process them, including sending them to the AI providers named in the privacy policy, only to provide the service. If a photo can’t be used (for example it mostly shows a person), we will ask you to take another one and it won’t count against your redesigns.
Acceptable use
Don’t use RoomTag to break the law, to upload images of other people without their consent, or to interfere with the service or other users.
Disclaimers and liability
RoomTag is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live that can’t be waived by contract.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live, and the mandatory consumer laws of your province, state or country still apply.
